This Foundation provides our nation’s disabled heroes with an opportunity to restore a healthy, active lifestyle despite having suffered debilitating injuries while serving our country. As a kid I was so inspired by Star Trek, The Six Dollar Man, the internet, and a connected world. I kept waiting for someone to put a program like this together. I was a Sea Bee in the Navy in a Maintenance Unit. I thought if something happens the vast technology we have will make me better than I was before. Sadly this is not how it is. Becoming impatient waiting for someone else to do this I decided to do it. Like we have access to cars people should have access to high functioning gear to replace appendages sacrificed in the line of duty.
